Texas Treatment With a Difference

When you or someone you love needs treatment for drugs, alcohol, or co-occurring disorders, it can be hard to tell one program from another. Serenity View stands out as a proud member of the Meadows Behavioral Healthcare family, the industry leader in evidence-based treatment. All of our clinical staff are trained in the Meadows Model of trauma-informed care, making them prepared to address substance use disorders, mental health conditions, and emotional trauma.

Our Personalized Approach

Everyone’s treatment needs are different, so we work with you to find just the right fit — from compassionate, medically-managed detox to group and one-on-one therapy, experiential treatment methods, our state-of-the-art Brain Center, and a focus on fitness and nutrition. Many of our staff are in recovery themselves, so they’ve been where you are and understand addiction from the inside out. Our clinical manager will ensure your treatment needs are met, and your case manager will walk with you throughout the process, helping you plan not just for right now, but thinking through next steps so you can continue to thrive post-treatment.

Southern Hospitality

The slower pace of our sprawling campus makes everyone feel more relaxed. While we take treatment very seriously, that doesn’t mean back-to-back counseling sessions and classes. Our program mixes therapy and psychoeducation with activities like fishing, equine therapy, disc golf, and yoga, giving you downtime to absorb everything you’re learning. Take advantage of our Southern hospitality as you visit the pool, join a game of basketball or volleyball in the air-conditioned gym, walk through our labyrinth, or just grab some iced tea and watch the sunset by the lake.

“One of the gifts of recovery is that I can speak to that because I understand the disease from the inside out. Most people look at it from the outside in. This is a very different disease than most people think it is … and it’s a different thing to talk about from an experiential level.”
